Liberty Hill does not publish a hardness figure, and its supply is a blend of Leander-treated Lake Travis water and Trinity aquifer wells, so no single published number would be honest anyway.

What we can tell you is what we actually measure. Across the Liberty Hill properties we test, we typically see 12 to 16 grains per gallon - roughly two to three times the hardness of the water we deliver. That is our own field data rather than a published figure, and it varies more out here than anywhere else we work, depending on whether you are on city water, a well, or a blend of both.

The city buys treated Lake Travis water from the City of Leander, produced at the Sandy Creek plant and piped in over Bagdad Road, supplemented by the city’s own Trinity aquifer wells.
